      ... was created by the Indiana General Assembly as a legal entity into which the state will deposit monies that it collects from the sale of "Hoosier Safety" license plates.    
    This not-for-profit foundation is one of the first of its kind in the country.  Through it, you can take part in the helping to protect your loved ones, your neighbors and yourself while declaring your dedication to "Hoosier Safety"   For more information please call:

1800-434-9974		   Money raised by the Foundation is distributed five ways.  Emergency management, fire services, building services, and emergency medical services each receive 22.5 percent and 10 percent goes to the stewardship fund to promote sales of the plate.  
    When you renew your vehicle's plate, you can start supporting those who ensure your safety on a daily basis.  Simply ask for one the next time you mail in your renewal form or visit a local license branch.   For more information please call:

      It takes an additional $25 (which goes to the foundation!) plus applicable BMV administrative, registration, and excise fees.
