The Primary Election for 2012 will be held on May 8, 2012. The General Election will be held on November 6, 2012. The Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on those two days. Thirty (30) days prior to each of the elections, early voting will be available in the Courthouse, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The last two Saturdays prior to each of the elections, the Courthouse will be open for voting from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Please note that we have had two Precinct Poll Location changes. The First North and the Limedale Precincts have moved. Due to the closing of the Courthouse Annex, First North precinct will now vote at the Putnam County Museum. The Limedale Precinct will vote at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in the Community Building (east side).

Register by Mail:

We offer the following services...

You can register by mailing a completed voter registration form to the Putnam County Voter Registration Office; please use the mailing address above.  You can obtain a voter registration form from the Indiana Election Division – https://www.in.gov/sos/elections/.  Their toll-free telephone number is 1-800-622-4941.

Register in Person:

You can register by visiting one of the following locations at least one month before an election.  You can obtain a voter registration form at the Putnam County Voter Registration Office, 2nd Floor, Courthouse or from the BMV, 1010 Mill Pond Lane, Greencastle.  Registration is also available through any public assistance office (such as the Division of Family and Children).
