Voter Registration


Effective May 2018, Putnam County will now be a Vote Center County. Rather than voting in your specific precinct you may now choose to vote at ANY of the following eight (8) Vote Center locations.


  • Putnam County Courthouse
  • Cloverdale American Legion
  • Reelsville Fire Department
  • Bainbridge Community Building
  • Floyd Township Fire Dept. (Heritage Lake)
  • Putnam County Fairgrounds
  • Greencastle American Legion
  • Wellspring Christian Church


Polling sites will continue to be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as usual. An Indiana drivers license, federal i.d. or passport is required to be able to vote. Early voting will still be offered for 30 day prior to the election on the 2nd floor of the Putnam County Courthouse. Mail-in ballots will be available during this time as well. You may register to vote for this Election if:


  • You are a citizen of the United States
  • You will be 18 years of age by Election Day
  • You will have been a resident of your precinct for 30 days before the election and you are not currently in prison after being convicted of a felony.
